Councillor D’Arienzo moved an amended motion on the Draft Inner West Affordable Housing Policy. An amendment proposed by Councillors Antoniou and Barlow was defeated nine votes to five, and the primary motion was carried nine votes to five.

The council decided to defer a planning proposal for 75-85 Crown Street and 116 Princes Highway, St Peters to the next meeting. Councillor Howard requested further information on affordable housing provisions, deep soil, and traffic management.

The council approved an amended motion for the Dulwich Hill Place Plan. The decision expands the study area to include Fairfowl Lane and part of Fairfowl Street in Dulwich Hill.

Councillor Howard moved to reinstate the waste management working group, which was carried. The council also unanimously approved a motion to attend the Local Government NSW Annual Conference 2026.

The council heard from Alana Wolfe of Enmore regarding graffiti management service improvements. Alana Wolfe called for a removal policy that ensures homeowners, renters and commercial building owners are helped by council or incentivised to keep the community safe.

The council deferred all remaining business to the next ordinary council meeting on 22 September 2026.
